The sun shone, the crowds came and the tiny hamlet of Honeywood was the venue for a terrific country party! Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here’s a little scrapbook of photos from Celebrate Food & Water First. They tell the story of an incredible day in which the bounty and talents of Dufferin County were enjoyed by hundreds. Oh. And there was Bill Lishman zooming around in his decked-out ultralight, uniting the Class 1 land of the Pickering Lands to the Class 1 land in Melancthon! Food & Water First took flight!
Thanks to all the volunteers who made Celebrate Food & Water First a huge success! And thanks to all those who attended and showed their support for Ontario’s prime farmland and water resources. We’re working hard to do what’s right, but we’re also having a great time doing it!
