The sale of the Highland Mega Quarry land to Bonnefield Financial is the focus of a column in the Orangeville Banner. Former town councillor, Rob Strang, gives the deal a positive review and wonders “if only our governments would see the wisdom in protecting farmland as one of the few sustainable elements of our economy.” Indeed.
