Meet Emily!

Emily Green is our Food & Water First farmers’ market representative in Toronto! She’s been hired by our partner, the David Suzuki Foundation, to help spread the word about protecting Class 1 farmland and source water regions. Emily is from Niagara and recently graduated from the Community Worker program at George Brown College. “I think about the generations to come and how our society is currently operating in an unsustainable way. Food and water are vital to our survival. We must protect farmland and water.” Well said, Emily!
