The Food & Water First photo album starts with one of our favourites. It was taken on November 21, 2012 when the Highland Companies withdrew its application for the Mega Quarry in Melancthon. The sudden announcement came exactly one month after 40,000 people gathered at Soupstock in Toronto to celebrate the bounty of the land threatened by Highland. The victory over the Mega Quarry also launched Food & Water First.
